I know my serial number.  I have loaded this program on my desk top and the laptop that i use in the field.  Now that my laptop is crashed I cannot load the program on another machine until I get the Adobe to reactivate my serial number so i can then install it on my new laptop.  Otherwise they will deny me the right to load it on a third machine (only allowed to load the program on two machines at any given time)  because they are not aware that my second loading is no longer available to me.

having said that I will try the CS6  Extended Installer and see what happens.
