We have a large project for a documentary film and we deleted the cache files and Premiere is rebuilding them. It has taken all night so far and it is working away to render the preview files and the audio peak files. We can see it creating them in the lower right corner of the window. We can also see them being created on the external hard drive where we designated them to be.
The project is full of different codecs and many After Effects comps. It's taking a long time and we have no idea how much longer it's going to take.
We are on a deadline to deliver a cut by tonight. Is there any way we can output the hour and half sequence even though it hasn't rendered all the cache files and we're still not able to play it in the timeline?
