Color management itself is not an issue for me. Embed Color Profile in Save for Web has influence on resulting image while I'm talking about soft proof/preview inside Photoshop. I can produce jpegs in the quality I want and outside Photoshop my photos are displayed well (in color-managed apps, of course). What I'm talking about is discrepancy between preview in "View > Proof Colors > Internet Standard RGB" and "Save for Web -> Internet Standard RGB". The preview in "View > Proof Colors > Internet Standard RGB" looks violet/purple be it in Adobe RGB or sRGB working space. The preview in "Save for Web -> Internet Standard RGB" looks always as expected (with anticipated little color shift). In my opinion, both previews should result in equal outcome.
