Captivate cloud is not suitable for small companies to use

Hi,

We are a small company with 6 Developers.

Problems 1 : licensing

Normal Creative cloud allows you

- To have an administrator and assign users  AND

- do one payment,

- I can purchase new licenses

-If someone leaves you just reassign the license.

Captivate cloud has

- no administrator so you  cannot assign users

- we do 6 payments per month - one per user

- I can not purchase new licenses : each team member has to purchase their own, So I have to give the company credit card details to employees and I am dependent on their adobe password to keep our credit card information  safe, I get a bill each month for each developer with no reference information about who the license is for so I get 6 bills

Problem 2 : Don't travel to the US

We are an Australian company, we have an Australian staff member who works in America

She cant use the license I have created in Australia a Captivate Cloud access, but she can't access it because Adobe blocks it says you are not allowed to access overseas licenses in American

I just found out she created her own license and is paying for it

There is no issue on Creative Cloud

I just found out that she has purchase a new US license because she couldn't access the Australian email address on Adobe. So I am stuck with an Australian Captivate Cloud license for 12 months

Problem 3 : Commitment after the first 12 months

You must continue to commit to 12 months at a time even after the first 12 month for both Captivate and creative cloud, so if you reduce staff you are stuck with 12 months of payments.

regards Paul
