Limit to hide/show code function?

Hello,

I'm having issues with the hide/show code function in Edge. I have an interactive animation with four buttons allowing the user to change "scenes". Each of these four buttons needs to be able to hide or show 20+ graphics at once in order to switch from scene to scene. Is there a limit to how many times I can use the hide/show function on a single button? It works perfectly fine until I've reached a certain number of elements, then it refuses to show or hide whatever I try to do next.
