I have a licensed copy of Photoshop CS6 (supplied only as a download by Adobe). Following a computer crash, I needed to re-install CS6, the download completed, the software then asked for the serial no. which I duly entered, and despite the fact it is the registered number for this software (also shown in our Adobe account and from my own records), adobe will not register it, instead a window pops up after entering the required details, claiming that the registered number is not for the product it just downloaded. This is a total contradiction of what is clearly shown on their own log of my purchases, which show exactly the same number entered for my copy of CS6. Of course, despite the fact I only bought the damn software 9 months ago, they do not allow access to support in order for them to correct something that is clearly Adobe's own bug. Basically, I have bought a very expensive program and they, in their wisdom have created a problem that means I can no longer have access to it. This is daylight robbery and a shameful way to treat loyal customers who have spent thousands of pounds over the years for licensed copies of Adobe software. All I ask is that a customer service advisor, correct the fault and register my copy with the number it has on record, because, for some reason, it won't let me do it. I have today worked with a kind Microsoft technician for 6 hours, trying to re-install my licensed copy on to my restored version of windows to no avail, Adobe really do need to give people access to their own staff so that registry errors like this can be solved. Lets face it, a forum is not going to be able to fix this one is it.
