Scrolling on tablet is horribly slow, great on phone and desktop

Hi there

So first off, here is the site (testacc.businesscatalyst.com). I originally designed a desktop, tablet, and phone version of the site. Everything worked great except the tablet version which scrolled TERRIBLY 2 iPads I tried it on (tried different browsers too although they all use the same render engine on iPads). HOWEVER, if I chose the options in Safari, Mercury, or Chrome on the iPad to force load the desktop site it suddenly scrolled like BUTTER.

I realized that the tablet version of the site was probably unnecessary since it was almost identical to the desktop version so I deleted it from my Muse project file and re-published. Now, the tablet browsers successfully load the desktop site, but it STILLS scrolls INCREDIBLY slow and jerky unless I ask the browsers to load the Desktop site. Any ideas?
